Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree, or experience in a professional field or military
  • Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
  • Experience in software development with an object-oriented language
  • Experience in consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
  • Experience in IT implementation
  • Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies, including design and implementation
  • Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale, or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
  • Experience in cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems
  • UK Government Security Clearance required
  • UK Nationality required
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives
  • Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers
  • Understand customer security and compliance requirements
  • Propose and deliver packaged security offerings
  • Help build bespoke security solutions to fit customer needs
  • Operate within an enterprise security program and develop a security model in the AWS cloud
  • Lead implementation projects and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Optimize performance and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Deliver projects on-site, including proving the use of AWS services and security technology to support information security in the cloud
  • Help migrate existing applications or support the development of new applications using AWS cloud services
  • Convey partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering, support, and business teams
  • Collect, capture, package, and share knowledge with customers, partners, and AWS employees
  • Work backwards from desired customer outcomes to design and deliver technical solutions
  • Work on projects with autonomy and discretion
  • Advise customers on how to implement solutions
  • Assist customers with building proof of concepts and implementing AWS services
  • Collaborate with Sales and AWS Service Teams
  • Research, validate, and beta test new AWS services
  • Present workshops one to one or one to many
