Chief FPGA/DSP Architect

Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong FPGA development experience using VHDL or Verilog
• Experience with DSP and digital communication systems
• Understanding of SDR platforms and modem architectures
• Familiarity with modulation, filtering, FFTs, or error correction techniques
• Experience with Xilinx/Vivado toolchains
• Knowledge of Python, C++, or MATLAB would be beneficial
• Exposure to Bluetooth or wireless protocols, RF systems, or low-power hardware design would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Develop FPGA-based DSP pipelines
• Implement modem and signal-processing functions
• Contribute to the architecture of SDR platforms
• Work on optimisation and feature development
• Support system-level integration across hardware and software domains
• Work closely with RF, embedded, and protocol engineers in a highly technical and collaborative environment
