Lead Software Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £31,000 - 67,000 per year
Requirements:- We are considering candidates who live in the UK, with an expectation to visit the London office when required.
- Strong product focus with the ability to define and champion medium- to long-term system architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Full-stack engineering expertise with cloud-based systems.
- Experience with practices such as TDD and CI/CD.
- Coaching experience and a collaborative approach to building excellent software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders.
- A previous role using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB and/or AWS would be an asset.
- Experience with adjacent languages, frameworks and services used at scale is also relevant.
- IMU and GPS data processing experience is a plus.
- Provide technical leadership and drive innovation within our Human Performance group.
- Define and champion medium- to long-term system architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and adoption of best practices.
- Directly contribute to the implementation of solutions.
- Own complex, high-impact Human Performance projects across multiple business units.
- Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.
- Mentor and level up engineers through guidance and collaboration.
- Set the bar for engineering excellence.
- Create cross-group initiatives and proactively communicate needs.
