Data & Analytics Lead

Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience across Data Engineering, BI, Analytics Engineering or Data Modelling
• Advanced SQL
• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX and Power Query
• Expert dimensional and semantic modelling
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Warehouse, Lakehouse, OneLake and Direct Lake
• Experience owning enterprise or cross-business-unit data models
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Design reusable data products, dimensional models and semantic models
• Set standards around business logic, KPIs, DAX, Power BI and data quality
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Work closely with the Lead Data Engineer across the Microsoft Fabric environment
• Review models and logic produced by the BI team
• Coach technical teams and influence senior business stakeholders
• Shape the data roadmap, governance and operating model
• Explore new Fabric, Power BI and AI capabilities

We are working with a leading organisation going through a major data transformation, including a move from Azure SQL to Microsoft Fabric. This is a high-impact leadership role, acting as the right hand to the Director and the key link between Data, BI and the wider business. It is a fully remote role with some London office trips, offering a salary of £80K to £100K.
