Cyber Security Consultant

Salary: £59,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require the ability to gain SC Clearance.
• We require experience with vulnerability assessments.
• We require experience with on-site check penetration tests.
• We require experience with device health checks and build reviews.
• We require experience with red team and advanced testing simulations.
• We require specialism in network infrastructure penetration tests.
• We require the ability to conduct technical security tests against information systems or products to identify vulnerabilities.
• We require the ability to ensure testing activity is lawful, compliant with relevant regulations, and within agreed scope.
• We require the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team to deliver consultancy services to a high standard.
• We require the ability to communicate risk effectively to both technical and C-level audiences.
• We require strong technical report writing skills.
• We require experience delivering work under the CHECK scheme and to CHECK standards.
• We require the ability to provide technical consultancy and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• We lead on-site security assessments in secure environments.
• We conduct structured programs of security testing, consultancy, and research.
• We deliver detailed reports that highlight engagement outcomes, risk assessments, and remediation priorities.
• We perform work onsite in secure environments and engage directly to make a tangible impact.
• We carry out technical security tests to identify vulnerabilities.
• We communicate risk and findings to technical and C-level audiences.
• We produce well-written technical reports delivered to plan.
• We provide technical consultancy and recommendations.
