IT Solutions Designer / Infrastructure Lead

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in solution design, solution architecture, or a technical lead role in a similar environment
• Strong background in infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cyber security technologies
• Experience designing secure and scalable enterprise solutions within complex environments
• Strong understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, and technical governance
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
• Experience within the public sector, or similarly complex organisations, would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end technology solutions across infrastructure, networks, and cyber security
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution specifications
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, standards, and blueprints
• Ensure solutions are secure, integrated, scalable, and fit for purpose
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver successful outcomes
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions
• Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation planning
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather and validate requirements
• Support Agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
