Senior EFX Developer

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have solid experience as a Senior Java Developer.
• We have strong command of Java 17 or higher.
• We have experience in low-latency development and multithreaded applications.
• We have advanced knowledge of performance tuning, including GC, memory, CPU, and operating system optimization.
• We have experience working with the FIX protocol.
• We have knowledge of low-latency messaging technologies such as Aeron, Agrona, SBE, Protobuf, or Chronicle.
• We have experience with distributed systems and caching solutions such as Hazelcast, Redis, Coherence, or similar.
• We have experience designing scalable architectures and critical systems.
• We have a high level of English, which is essential for working in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

• We develop high-performance applications using Java 17+.
• We design and implement low-latency solutions for pricing and electronic trading systems.
• We develop pricing, hedging, booking, and liquidity management engines.
• We optimize application performance through latency reduction, GC optimization, and operating system tuning.
• We develop solutions based on financial protocols such as FIX and REST APIs.
• We implement distributed systems using technologies such as Hazelcast, Kafka, Aeron, or similar solutions.
• We contribute to the design of scalable, resilient, and highly available architectures.
• We collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams in Agile methodologies.
• We mentor junior developers and promote best practices in development, testing, and code quality.
