Requirements:

• We require 6+ years of experience in Azure DevOps.
• We require strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• We require expertise in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
• We require experience with Terraform, ARM Templates and Bicep.
• We require experience with Git, Azure Repos and GitHub.
• We require hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• We require experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• We require knowledge of networking, security, identity management and RBAC.
• We require strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python or Azure CLI.
• We require experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• We require excellent communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400 and/or AZ-305 are desirable.
• Experience with DevSecOps, enterprise cloud migrations and multi-region deployments is desirable.
• Exposure to SRE concepts is desirable.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or Bamboo is desirable.
• Knowledge of MLOps, Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka/Event Streaming, Ansible or Chef is desirable.
• Knowledge of FinOps and Azure cost optimisation is desirable.
• Experience working in BFSI environments with security and compliance requirements is desirable.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus, Artifactory, Veracode, Checkmarx or Fortify is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We design and maintain Azure DevOps YAML CI/CD pipelines.
• We automate build, deployment, testing and release processes.
• We manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates and Bicep.
• We support Azure services including VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions and Storage Accounts.
• We deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) environments.
• We implement monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and Grafana.
• We develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash or Python.
• We implement DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning and compliance checks.
• We collaborate with Development, QA, Security and Operations teams.

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer for a London-based hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite. This is a 12-month initial contract starting as soon as possible, offered at a rate of £485 per day inside IR35. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, cloud environments and DevOps best practices on Microsoft Azure.
