PL/SQL Developer (Oracle & IBM DataStage)

Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Proven IBM DataStage ETL development experience.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience delivering enterprise data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within Financial Services or another regulated industry is desirable.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is desirable.
• Knowledge of data governance, CI/CD and DevOps practices is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures and database objects.
• Design, build and support ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
• Develop scalable data integration and transformation processes.
• Optimise SQL queries and ETL performance.
• Support data quality, reconciliation and production issues.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to development best practices.

We are hiring a PL/SQL Developer to join our technology team on a 6-month contract in London with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days onsite. This is an inside IR35 opportunity paying £470 per day. We deliver enterprise-scale data integration projects within a highly regulated environment, and we value strong technical expertise in Oracle and IBM DataStage.
