Senior SQL Developer

Salary: £48,000 - 56,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven track record in software development in a similar role
• Strong SQL skills, including data querying, manipulation, and performance tuning
• Hands-on SSRS experience
• Strong skills in unit, end-to-end, and acceptance testing
• Ability to lead technical projects and liaise with colleagues across different disciplines
• Ability to mentor internal staff and work with external representatives

Responsibilities:

• Act as the SME for solution configurations
• Lead implementation and testing of low-code solutions
• Scope development and testing projects, including timelines
• Translate requirements into designs and solutions that support business objectives
• Improve processes and solutions in collaboration with the wider development team
• Mentor and review team output, including sign-offs and release validation
• Liaise with the wider technical function and other teams to ensure alignment with business goals
• Promote Agile working and best practice within the team
• Stay aware of new trends and technologies and contribute to standups and team activities
