IT Asset Manager - ITAM ITIL Banking
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- Extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations, ideally within a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
- Experience in a large regulated financial services environment, preferably banking or insurance.
- Proven experience building frameworks in a greenfield environment rather than only supporting BAU.
- Detail-oriented and compliance-driven approach to hardware asset management and governance.
- Take ownership of the lifecycle process for physical IT assets.
- Lead the transformation of our hardware asset management function across EMEA.
- Build out IT asset management frameworks and operating models in a greenfield environment.
- Establish full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation for hardware assets.
- Support the creation of a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management aligned to global standards and regulatory frameworks such as DORA.

We are a bank offering a permanent IT Asset Manager role in London City with a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management as we strengthen our technology governance and resilience. You will be shaping the future of asset management across our EMEA operations in a greenfield environment, building frameworks rather than simply managing BAU. The role offers a salary of £60,000-£80,000 and includes a two-stage interview process conducted face to face with the business.
