IT Systems & Support Engineer

Salary: £33,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with experience in roles such as IT Systems Engineer, IT Support Engineer, Senior IT Support Engineer, 2nd Line Engineer, 3rd Line Engineer, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer.
• We would value experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows environments, Windows Server, Hyper-V, networking, switching, firewall infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and cyber security.
• Manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
• We are seeking someone who enjoys learning, takes ownership of problems, and wants to develop technically while progressing into a broader operational role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support across the business.
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows environments.
• Assist with Windows Server and Hyper-V administration.
• Support networking, switching, and firewall infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, devices, and endpoint technologies.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and cyber security.
• Support telephony, CCTV, and manufacturing technology.
• Work with third-party suppliers.
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements and IT projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
