IT Operations Manager

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience managing third-party IT providers and service providers
• Experience improving service delivery and building strong relationships across the business
• Experience in IT operations, IT service delivery, infrastructure, technology operations, IT management, or service delivery management
• Experience within a regulated or quality-driven environment is advantageous
• Full right to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day operation of our IT services and infrastructure
• Manage relationships with our external IT suppliers and service providers
• Monitor and improve supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational IT issues
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and security initiatives
• Oversee hardware, software, and infrastructure upgrades
• Drive service improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support key business systems and technology projects
• Produce service and performance reporting for senior stakeholders

We are recruiting for an IT Operations Manager to join our successful international healthcare business in Hemel Hempstead on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This is a key role within a small, highly visible technology team, working closely with our Technology Director to ensure the effective delivery and continuous improvement of IT services across the organisation. The role offers a blend of operational leadership and technical involvement, with around 60% focused on vendor and service management and 40% on hands-on technical oversight.
