Automation Systems Developer

Salary: £52,000 - 56,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need someone with at least 3–5 years experience in a similar Automation Developer role.
• We need extensive understanding of SQL and Power Apps.
• We need solid experience developing end-to-end solutions with Power Automate.
• We need strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues independently and quickly.
• We need a clear, concise, and confident communicator who is comfortable in stakeholder-facing roles.
• We need someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing priorities.
• We need a passion for building innovative solutions that streamline business processes and deliver measurable value.
• We need data integration skills, including work with SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, and APIs.
• We need security and permissions awareness.
• JSON experience is preferred.
• SharePoint design and development experience is preferred.
• We need a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you delivering efficiencies by automating administrative tasks so the wider business can focus on improved patient outcomes.
• We will have you building and optimising Power Automate flows across departments and integrating them with business systems.
• We will have you working with SQL and Microsoft Azure.
• We will have you writing scripts, logic, or connectors to integrate applications.
• We will have you collaborating with colleagues and managers to identify automation opportunities and scope solutions.
• We will have you testing automations in sandbox environments before release.
• We will have you debugging automation failures and ensuring scripts remain operational as core systems update.
• We will have you supporting broader Power Platform initiatives, including Power Apps and Power BI as needed.
• We will have you presenting business cases to the board for new projects.
• We will have you documenting automation designs for governance and audit purposes.
• We will have you ensuring projects are thoroughly mapped and documented to support future fixes, updates, and ongoing IT support.
• We will have you collating post-project data and measurable outcomes to evaluate and demonstrate business impact and value delivered.
