Software Engineer - Java Kafka API

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Java development skills, including multi-threading and concurrency
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices environments
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging tools
• Good knowledge of REST APIs
• Good understanding of AWS
• Thorough understanding of software development and Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Design Patterns
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborative mindset with enjoyment of problem solving and client interaction

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver a range of transformational projects for clients
• Focus on Kafka messaging, migrating legacy systems to AWS, and introducing CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with a diverse team, adhering to engineering best practices and continuous improvement of client systems
• Engage with clients providing business insight and exposure
• Participate in continual learning and development opportunities
