Quality Engineer

Salary: £54,000 - 64,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in quality engineering within civils, facade, cladding, architectural or fit-out works.
• Strong understanding of nuclear-grade construction quality requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience working with ITPs, QCPs, LTQRs and structured handover processes.
• Working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract processes.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use digital QA tools.
• CSCS PQP/AQP card.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee adherence to the Project Quality Plan, specifications, ITPs, RAMS, and nuclear safety standards, including inspections and testing requirements.
• Manage QA documentation, product compliance, and traceability records, ensuring readiness for progressive assurance and project handover.
• Lead non-conformance management, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and communicate lessons learned to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with package managers, subcontractors, and design teams to maintain robust quality standards, delivering briefings and training as required.
• Utilise digital QA platforms for reporting, audits, and continuous improvement, while promoting team wellbeing and an inclusive workplace culture.
